A sophomore year student. He is polite, kind-hearted, outgoing, formal, soft spoken, and intelligent. Edward is one of the survivors of the Clock Tower case and is suffering from amnesia. However, in the climax/final confrontation, he reveals his true colors. To be blunt, he never had amnesia to begin with and is the opposite of his façade persona. He is sadistic, bloodthirsty, maniacal, manipulative, sociopathic, cunning, childish, and playful. In Nancy's story, he reveals not only his colors but also his last name Burroughs, confirming that he is the true culprit of the murders, 2nd demonic child of Simon and Mary Burroughs, and the parasitic twin of Dan Burroughs, who used his own brother and forced him to feed on the children as of means to give Edward (nameless at the time) a new and perfect body. In Tara's story, Okada uses his pistol to shoot Edward in the head, causing him to let of Tara and be sucked into the Door, meeting his demise. In Nancy's story, Nancy uses a ritual dagger to stab Edward in the head and making him lose his grip on Nancy's leg, meeting his demise through the Door.
