Deven Rokata is the father of the Rokata siblings, ex-prisoner, and a former test subject of Umbrella. He is known to be blunt, strict, a bit self-centered, laid-back, gassy, gluttonous, a little lazy, loving, and caring. Before he became a complete father, Deven was a prideful and boastful one that bragged constantly about how he's gonna get more kids than Xavier and that they're going to be more successful than his, and which eventually had his generation cursed by God. Though his pride and greed was only part of the reason and not the main, he was nevertheless still responsible for his actions. After being sent to prison for taking innocent lives, attempting to kill his kids after his wife dies of childbirth, and causing panic among the public, Deven now wants nothing more than to be with his kids again and become their real dad this time, showing that he finally came to his senses. Deven would break himself free from his prison in order to save Zayin from finding his mother Vase Rokata, who managed to survive via an empty clone of herself. Despite Zayin not knowing who Deven is and still thinking that Dr. Laborador was his "papa"(which the Doc basically lied about), Deven never gave up on him and still protected him knowing that Zayin would be scared of him. However, Zayin would eventually come to a realization that Deven truly is his father after witnessing his own father defending him against his cruel-natured mother and remembering the time his father named him when he was just born via Psychokinesis and now acknowledges how much people love him as his father Deven did. Deven manages to escape with his reunited son along with some other survivors. Deven is currently living with his reunited kids with under the roof of his in-law brother Xavier Makita.
