Mages are magic users that are capable of close and far ranges but are vulnerable to attacks due to lack of defense. Keeping them from a safe distance while targeting their enemies are a good source of defense when engaging in close combat. Tanks are also included to protect/shield them so that mages won't be harmed. Mages are more on the offensive side, meaning they focus more on damage.

Merlin, the Arcane Wizard, is a counselor of King Arthur and friend to all. He is known to be cocky, kind-hearted, comical, wise, intelligent, and goofy. Master of the arts of magic, Merlin excels at almost anyone's expectations. He also has a son, Talrod, who was a skilled mage at best as his father until he found out about the true meaning of magic and hid, but not before shattering a crystal ball containing an evil dragon, a detail Talrod was unaware of because of his father not telling him the true meaning of the crystal ball. Merlin was in distraught and grief, constantly worrying about his own son's whereabouts. It wasn't until Arthur contracted an illness that rapidly expands him with fat increase that Merlin would soon find his son face to face again in a battlefield, as Talrod no longer wields magic and became a strategist and a prophet of the Lord. After aiding his father, Merlin tried to find the words as he's not only baffled but lost as to what he should say, but Talrod hugged him and informed him that he had already forgiven him and that he's glad to see him again, bringing Merlin to tears. After Arthur was cured of his illness thanks to the 7Individuals ridding a Parasite Shadow of Arthur himself, Talrod requests Merlin to aid with them on their journey, a request Merlin immediately applied yes happily without hesitation. Merlin soon found himself as Talrod's mage units, giving wise advice and dispelling magic on his foes.
