Jurakan is the manifestation of the hurricanes and a primal/major character who plays a huge role in the protagonists journeys. In the Taino mythology, Jurakan is portrayed as an evil deity or spirit that craves destruction and despair. But in actuality, he is very considerate, kind-hearted, a deep love and relationship with God, is neither a deity nor spirit, very childish and child-like, energetic, hyperactive, goofy, comical, and comedic. Still, it doesn't rule out the fact that he's completely destructive and less insensitive at times for the most silliest and stupidest things. He is also a main protagonist himself. Jurakan demonstrates both peace and judgement, as well as nulling out his feelings for both logic and wisdom. Jurakan has a variety of powers revolving around divination or manipulation, but he humbles himself before the Lord Yahweh, knowing that he doesn't have full control of everything. Jurakan also makes others pronounce his name properly using the Arawakan accent and even giving the option of calling him Jura and giving them an easy pronunciation, but not while also implying them as stupid for not pronouncing his full name. Jurakan loves empanadas, and would even manifest himself into a hurricane just to get it despite knowing the risks (he learned not to do that anymore thanks to Yahweh's patience with Jurakan). Jurakan has many incarnates (the protagonists) and does this to show the world that even the most quiet or most obnoxious and insensitive can be heroes for the sake of the greater good God has in stored. Respected for his powers and authority as well as wise council, he makes sure that no offerings of sacrifice goes to him and makes it very clear that proper respect, glory, honor, and sacrifice belongs to the Lord and the Lord alone. Both dangerous and fun to be around, Jurakan expresses tons of goofy, silly, comedic, and comical moments non-stop while also taking things serious should he enter that route. Jurakan is also very forgiving and selfless, making sure that others show love for others just as God does. Jurakan has a shop called the Taino Shop at Hope's Peak High, where he will sell items of great value with an exchange of pieces of metal that Jurakan daily spreads out throughout the school. Gold-3, Platinum-4, Silver-3, Bronze-2, and Copper-1. No yen or cash required. Also, Jurakan loves to wear hats.
