説明
Uno Guardonas is a history teacher at Hope's Peak High and one of Kai Makita's uncles/teachers. He is known to be sharp, stern, strict, stubborn, arrogant, violent, and prideful. Uno's family has a rather unique side when it comes to powers, and his grandparents are the sole patriarchs of this genuine bloodline. However, Uno strives for perfection and his strict attitude can cause his own family to be disarray. He expects that his family uses their powers for the sake of the majority. However, he despises his own son Yaquel, who was blessed with no powers, and Uno takes this as a great offense to his family. Therefore, he treats his son as an outcast while giving credit to the rest of his kids, nephews, and nieces. As Yaquel's school year goes by, God (Yahweh) told Uno to bring his son home for a ceremony, where his parents will bless him with a talent far greater than what anyone has seen already. However, Uno refuses and believes that the gifts should be received for a family member who is a kid, and not therefore believing that it's already too late for Yaquel to receive one. God warned him of the consequences, but Uno still refuses to believe such a things, as he sees (in his perspective) that he is doing what is right despite being completely in the wrong. And as God had told him, the consequences can be severe as Uno almost choked his son to death all because he was titled as the Ultimate AI Maker, and snaps out of his anger when he realizes what he has done. No matter what Uno thinks of Yaquel, he too knows that that's his son, flesh and blood, and still loves him as a father. Which is why he feels extremely hurt when he tries to comfort Yaquel, only to be immediately rejected by him out of complete fear and running away in tears. His actions as of what just took place eventually made him tear up, as he begins to realize that his own pride of the family is what's causing him to lose something more important: you guessed it, Family. Uno decides to leave his son alone for a little bit, giving him some space and some time to breathe. Few weeks later, Uno did what God had told him to do from the very beginning. He enters his son's dorm room and gives him a big bear hug and he begins to tear up, which Yaquel calmly followed up showing a sign of forgiveness. Yaquel was taken home to be blessed by God through his grandparents, and received the gift of Super Intelligence: now becoming even more smarter than before. Once the gift was received, Yaquel was escorted back to his dorm room as his father had dropped him off. This was before Kai had an autism meltdown inside their dorm room as well as the exact same time when Yaquel was arrested by Naoto Shirogane for questioning. Currently, Uno stopped getting worked up over family pride and refocuses on his love for God as well as his family, becoming more selfless. Still, that strict and scolding personality still lingers, but more in a different way so that his students wouldn't have to be hard-headed and stubborn as he once was.
