This manga festival is held twice a year, once in summer and once in winter, so it's tough for those who line up in both the heat and the cold.lol
I used to go every year when I was a student, but now I don't have plans to go because my busy schedule at work overlaps with mine.

the one we went to, didn’t have much manga, it was mostly DC & Marvel comics,
I don’t mind, since I watch their movies, but I was looking forward to manga more,
since they’re very hard to get over here.

Oh, it was probably the same manga festival as in Japan.lol Manga festivals are not a place to sell real things, but a place for people who love manga to sell their own drawings of their favorite works lol. It's a festival for amateurs. Some of them become professionals, though.
The reason I haven't been able to go is because I'm currently busy with work.
