He was determined to surpass Kurai and prove that he was just as capable, if not better, than him. His hatred for Kurai only grew when his sister fell into coma because of a mission she went with Kurai that created numerous casualties. His strict training and unyielding attitude made him a formidable opponent. Kurai knew that facing Brandon in battle would be a challenge, but he was ready to face it head-on.
