I went to that island a lot, when I was younger, usually during the summers,
for work, which was my cousin’s family business, that’s why I can
hear the bikes 😃
yeah it was my dad that told me, when I was a kid, I never believed him 😆
but then last year when I was there, I saw the statue of the Bee Gees, it made
me remember my dad’s story, so I took a picture & showed my mum, that’s
when she told me herself, even my brother was shocked lol
yeah the island is not well known, so it’s not a popular destination,
that’s why it’s like a ghost town, I went there last year, & it’s gotten worse,
a lot of shops has closed down, even my cousin’s family business, but that’s
only because they’re retiring.
the motorcycle race is actually held around the island, since it’s tiny 😆
I never went to see it, but you can hear it, it’s super loud.
have you ever heard of the Bee Gees? they use to live there, my mum knew
one of the brothers lol
yeah it would only attract the people that lives there, same with businesses,
unless it’s a tourist area then it’ll work.. that’s how my cousin’s family business
survived, because it was right next to the castle, otherwise it would of been
closed down long time ago, the place is like a ghost town, it’s only lively
during motorcycle race season & summer.
