源湊（みなもとのみなと）は平賀源内が冥王星に到達した世界線の人物。冥王星・冥都に堕ちた源義経のオバケの末裔であり、バビラノ社社長の源洵（みなもとのまこと）を兄に持つ。
無口・無表情だが沸点が異常に低く、一度キレると手が付けられないほど暴れだす。偏食が激しく野菜は絶対に口にしようとしない。
俗世から離れて独り暮らしていたが、旅行雑誌の黄泉比良坂特集がたまたま目に入り、冥王星津々浦々の旅に出る。
道中で出会った比鬼南雲（ひおのなぐも）と共に黄泉比良坂を目指す源湊。街を抜け、平野を抜け、林道を抜けた先に広がっていたのはかつての冥都とよく似たおかしな世界、魑魅魍魎渦巻く地獄変、阿頼屋敷だった……
