鳥の擬人化シリーズ第8弾・キクイタダキ。
頭頂の黄色とオレンジが菊を載せているように見えるからキクイタダキ、あるいは王冠を載せているように見えるからGoldcrest。
学名はReglus reglus（小さな王）。
ということで、これまでの擬人化シリーズよりも小柄な王様になりました。
