While a silly idea, Morana never really styled her hair. She was content letting her hair down, but she soon found it more effective to put her hair in a ponytail…mainly to keep her hair from getting in her face while she ran.
And when crimefighting as the rather imposing Inverno, the ponytail helped as a part of her disguise.
