Zetilea Mendez is an ultimate student at Hope's Peak High, was one of Yuro's roommates, and is the Ultimate Spanish Chef. She is known to be tough, composed, laid-back, tomboyish, and comical. A chill girl who loves to cook, this Latin American college student cooks up tons of delicious foods for the eyes, nose, and mouth hard to resist. A lot of people would even ask for seconds, something she can happily oblige. Always keeping composure and loves to hang out with friends, she is also wise and considerate as well as understanding, always not putting her feelings first before wisdom but cautiously expresses herself politely. She's also a christian and is even helpful throughout the class trials. Unfortunately, she would eventually meet her end by the hands of another ultimate student name Zeta Makita, the Ultimate Terrorist. This was how it played out. Zeta was already making plans to murder Zetilea, for only she knew that Zeta was lying about him being the Ultimate Ringleader, and has to silence her to escape trouble even if it meant sacrificing his own family in the class trials. Late at night, when the school was closed and everyone is at their homes, Zeta made sure to skip school day to spy on Zetilea. When she returned to the apartment building, Zeta followed, and made sure no one was in sight. Seeing the area clear as coast, Zeta pulls out an umbrella (closed) and stabbed Zetilea through her chest and where her heart is at, killing her instantly. To make sure that no blood would spill, he tied her into a white blanket and slowly tip-toed towards the janitor's closet. There, he opened the door and swung the blanket around like an ancient slingshot, letting go of the other end of the sheet and flinging Zetilea's body inside while also making a huge commotion of loud noises from the objects. Though a few managed to hear it, they thought it was the janitor, since the janitor is known to be very clumsy, and thought nothing of it. Zeta then fled from the scene of the crime, but not while exposing a few pieces of evidence such as the dripping bloodstain on the carpet and the white blanket. Zetilea's death effected her family, friends, and peers, because they lost yet another student with such a heart of gold.
