This is Keitaro a year later. He finally took a bath and decided to think that he has to change his style since it reminded him of those bad memories.
Later on, he discovered rock music; it changed him, and he started to wear this mall goth outfit ever since. It just felt right for him somehow. Finding rock music helped him process his past and leave those bad memories behind, and adopting the mall goth style was how he physically embodied that personal reboot.
