Banabas Makita is the son of Xavier and Ruta Makita. He is known to be wimpy, shy, very superstitious-like, comical-like, and attaching. Banabas easily gets attached with someone he thinks can be good friends, and constantly wants to be the center of attention as of means to not be left out. He loves his family and friends a lot, but is constantly worried about being left out or unmentioned. This is evident due to Banabas' attachment to Luisa Madrigal, who possesses immense strength and durability, and constantly stands by her side because he sees her as a motherly figure. This, however, didn't bother Luisa much, seeing him being childlike and gets touchy whenever Luisa is carrying too much pressure on herself, and even going as so far as to aid her despite Luisa's reluctance, not wanting Abuela Alma to ridicule and scold him for helping her out. Banabas loves to climb a lot of stuff, so it's no surprise that he usually hangs on to Luisa's back. The two forged a strong bond with each other that can never be broken, and often came to each other's aid whenever they needed each other the most. Banabas is currently living among with his family ever since they moved in to the Madrigal family's home, Casita, for a vacation.
