@Veratai i think it has to do with the color contrast. the orange is in a better harmony with the pale purple than the cyan is with the dark grey. there is also a problem on this site with catching fine details when the avatar uploads, they always come out more pixelated and blurred. If you find the concept interesting you could try out the item in the link below, its free and i made a couple color variations to combine how you like ^^
Hm.. somehow this one has better circuits than the gray male one.. wonder why
