Terrace Makita is the son of Xavier and Ruta Makita and is an ultimate student at Hope's Peak High. He is known to be shy, timid, nerdy, highly intelligent, sharp, skilled in technology, and has a fascination with science and mechanics. Terrace is a huge target for bullying, often being shoved around by others, his feelings hurt constantly, and vied as an outcast and a black sheep. Terrace is basically a walking encyclopedia constantly bombarding others with facts that involve science and mechanics. But because of his personality and likes, he is pushed away by others because he's just being annoying to them. Eventually, Terrace began to stop talking about science and mechanics, keeping his likes to himself, and stopped trying to make friends. He even cut himself off from his family, feeling like they don't love him either despite being totally wrong. Terrace rarely talks like he did before, which the bullies (who are jocks and delinquents) took pleasure at and constantly humiliate and torture him. After managing to survive an outbreak twice (File#1 and 2), Terrace began to relive his life again in silence. The jocks and delinquents came forward towards him and, what he expected to be another humiliating day, shocked him when they whole-heartedly confessed that they're the ones who are viewed as an outcast and finally understanding the pain Terrace had to go through because of them and then apologized to him. The boys and Terrace grew a brotherly bond with each other that can never be broken, even adding Cassandra Rokata, a girl and Terrace's cousin, to their roster. Terrace, despite his shy and timid nature, uses his intelligence in the class trials to help out Kai as to who murdered who by connecting the dots carefully.
