説明
Once Kingdom Hearts is restored, it is said a drop of pure heart drips down into each world. Legends say this droplet can form into any living or non-living creature. Its powers can be said to shape the fabric of time and alter history. Due to the danger this tremendous power can hold, keyblade warriors venture out to seek each drop so they can be tossed into the Realm of Darkness. They sink deep into the void, unable to bestow their gifts to a host, they turn into lumps of lifeless rocks.
Mitsuki (美月) was a lonely babe, cast out into the sea. The storm brought her basket to the shores of a beach far from home. Brought up by a man in a blue cloak, Mitsuki brought all but joy to the small few who lived on this Destiny Island.
For unknown reasons, a silver-haired boy with golden eyes came to stay on the island. Sensing a spec of darkness within him, Mitsuki chose to keep her distance. Her adoptive father took the boy in as his own, just as he did with her. Mitsuki did her best to keep her distance from the boy, and the same for him.
Similar to him, Mitsuki could see small visions of the future, although the boy who called himself Xehanort had visions of war and darkness. Mitsuki saw a young boy and his friends who would bring light. Xehanort pestered her about the boy she saw in her visions, but to no avail.
Once Xehanort leaves Destiny Island, Mitsuki worries about the boy she saw in her visions. Using her power of light, she travels the world in search of him. On her path to find the boy, she has a vision that he will be the key to protecting Kingdom Hearts.
