Here's my take on Sunstreaker if he was in RID15. but he's basically his 1981 G1 incarnation personality wise, so if you thought Sideswipe was cocky, this guy takes it to Knockout levels, along with sociopathic tendencies, but not evil. He geniunely cares very deeply for his younger twin brothers, Sideswipe and Cloudraker and will do ANYTHING to protect them.
Like pre-Autobot Knockout, he's leery of humans and obsessive of his paint job and finish.
Born as Spinout, he took the name Sunstreaker as a tribute to their black-listed uncle who went missing causing him and his brothers to be orphaned and separated in the foster system.
His "hair" was inspired by Vash's undercut from Trigun Stampede.
The main references in Sunny's design are Vash and Knives. Vash's undercut for "hair" and pistols for wrist mounted pulse laser rifles but he's closer to Knives Millions personality wise (not a genocidal maniac though.) Also adding Jax to Sunstreaker's personality inspirations, in terms of sarcastic and sardonic. He also has two energy blades that form bladed chains similar to the Chain Rod from Megaman Zero and Knives' chain blade abilities. For long range combat he has a pulse laser rifle and his missile launcher from the G1 cartoon.
He's not evil but he is more extreme in dealing with Decepticons and distrustful of the Cybertronian and Human governments. Good reasons though.
However, he doesn't hate children and eventually learns to trust Team Bee and the human crew, even respecting Sideswipe's choice in Corrina, though he does worry for him in terms of lifespans/social pressures.
