A dark-skinned, half-beast alien humanoid with the ability to manipulate elemental essence through her practice of the mana arts, Capt. Nefersila Takumis takes a no-nonsense approach to both her personal life and her duties as a knight. Commonly referred to either by rank or her nickname of "Neffie," her close friendship with the Sigma family was a primary logical factor in the assignment of the 105th Tail Force to retrieve and disarm their compromised teleportation targeting prototype.

Nefersila in her police uniform. Following the resolution of the Sinistro case (and after giving birth to her first kittens), her husband Alan (and his sister Kyla) transferred to New York City, where she followed into service alongside them. She has quickly become a force to be reckoned with compared to human officers within the NYPD by the nature of her mana arts, even respective to those who rely on bionic assistance to do the job (which she has come to know from even her own experience, owing to her reliance on a motorized prosthetic implant resulting from the loss of her left leg). Of interesting note compared to human traditions is that she maintains use of her own surname for department identification even in spite of her marital status, and that her knight armor has largely been retired from active use in favor of a lightweight anti-ballistic breastplate and semiformal dresswear with the NYPD decal sewn into her left sleeve. She also carries a standard-issue revolver to allow for a more conventional response, saving her telekinetic force and mana arts for when all else has failed.
警察の制服姿のネフェルシラ。シニストロ事件の解決後（そして最初の子猫たちを出産した後）、夫のアラン（とその妹カイラ）がニューヨーク市へ転勤となり、彼女も彼らに続いて現地で勤務することになった。彼女のマナ術の性質上、NYPD内の人間警官たちと比較しても、彼女は瞬く間に手強い存在となった。それは、職務遂行のためにバイオニック補助装置に依存している者たち（左脚を失った結果、電動義肢インプラントに頼らざるを得なくなった自身の経験からも、彼女はその実情を熟知している）と比べても同様である。人間の慣習と比較して興味深い点として、彼女は婚姻状況にかかわらず、部署内での識別には自身の姓を使い続けていること、そして騎士用の鎧は実戦からほぼ引退し、代わりに軽量の防弾胸当てと、左袖にNYPDのデカールが縫い付けられたセミフォーマルな制服を着用していることが挙げられる。また、より一般的な対応を可能にするため、標準装備のリボルバーを携行しており、テレキネシスや魔術の力は、他の手段がすべて失敗した時のために温存している。
