説明
Yunkei Iori is a time traveler and the son of Junpei Iori and Chidori Yoshiro and is a main protagonist. He is known to be shy, charismatic, comical, goofy, moody, sarcastic, and highly intelligent. Junpei married Chidori years later, and the two would eventually have a baby. Yunkei was a honeymoon baby. However, years would pass and Chidori would die, while Yunkei was taken out of custody of his father. Chiroka Hokotsu, the orphanage's manager, also told Yunkei that he was prohibited to see his father. When Yunkei was 12, his Junpei and Chiroka got into a bitter argument about Yunkei having the right to see or stay with his father, and Yunkei, constantly in between, decided to run away using a transporter pod. Yunkei traveled to the past, Kai's present, and entered Hope's Peak High as an ultimate student pretending to not know his talent. He also made sure to not engage activities with the other students, especially Junpei and Yukari. However, weeks have passed and Cat's class trial ensues, suggested by Kai Makita. Kai brought out evidence that proves the following claims: Yunkei himself. Though he tries to deny it multiple times even to the point of panicking, Kai fatally crushed Yunkei's deceit of being a transfer student by pointing out the school's power core that connects to the transporter pods. He even suggested the possibility of two ultimates being his biological parents. DNA tests were given each, and the latter proves Junpei and Chidori, and Yunkei, with nowhere left to hide, bolted out of the door to escape until his Chiroka, insane and ready to kill Yunkei, chased him into the forest. Fortunately, Yunkei managed to outsmart her by confusing the sounds of his footsteps to lure her in and hid behind the tree, wielding a thick branch as a baseball bat. She fells for the bait, and was struck in the head unconscious. Yunkei's Junpei also managed to enter the timeline, who tried to find him despite being superstitious. Yunkei eventually ended up into his father's arms, and Cat escorted them back to their timeline by opening a path for them, as Chiroka gets molded to death by the mutated teenage orphans she conducted on.
