Why does Cwoissant have so many models?
Well, to start... This has been a HUGE journey for me. Making my own models then...getting the help of Booth Vroid artists to assemble models in the way I envisioned Cwoissant's appearance.
Cwoissant was born from the crescent moon. A small piece of the moon chipped and crashed into Earth into an ordinary human. Once Cwoissant emerged from the crater, she realized she could never go home for her family wouldn't recognize her new form.
When the moon rock crashed into her, forming a crater, that crater was filled with other minerals and rocks that contributed to her eye and hair color. Her hair color resembles that of a full moon while her eyes are pink color.
Calcite is a common mineral that can fluoresce in a variety of colors, including pink and red when exposed to ultraviolet light. It explains why Cwoissant's eyes are pink on most days as the moon does reflect some UV rays from the sun to Earth.
During a crescent moon, her hair returns to normal but her eyes reflect their true color (red). And she takes another form, her TRUE FORM. To match her normally dark and long hair, she goes back to goth/emo/grunge tastes (the horns are superficial to match the aesthetic).
Her favorite colors are pinks and purples, but she doesn't mind most pastel colors being blue.
Croissants are one of her favorite foods even though Cwoissant has been a foodie her entire life. But now, she looks at the moon every night and sees a croissant at every angle.
Cwoissant's powers came out of nowhere. She can change her size and shape, but cannot control it. Sometimes she shapes into an anime character, other times it's a chibi character. One night, she read a book about Tsukino Usagi, the tale of the rabbit and the moon. The next day, she wakes up to lengthy soft ears draped around her face and a cotton tail attached to her back.
This new life is a bit confusing to tell and take in, I know. It's a new life for Cwoissant, too. But we're going to appreciate this new life together!
