Chara is a Chara that originates from AU: [ERRORTALE], Multiverse: [???]. This Chara is often mistaken for ErrorTale Frisk, however, the only similarities they have are; they're both chara's, they both have hate, and they can both use magic. Chara is considered a glitch. (sometimes confused with a virus) Chara's soul is half DTMP and half hate. Chara has a lot of forms, but this page is just talking about their main form. Chara doesn't remember much of their AU, which makes it a bit more difficult for them to re-make their AU. They are the only known 'survivor' of their AU. (Other than their hate and the ghosts of everyone else [excluding Frisk and Asriel] from their timeline)
