A dark-skinned, half-beast alien humanoid with the ability to manipulate elemental essence through her practice of the mana arts, Nefersila Takumis Larson takes a no-nonsense approach to both her personal life and her work as a public defender. Forced to ascribe permanent residence on Earth after her own world was rendered desolate by global cataclysmic destruction, she would be a major force in preventing the same fate from befalling her new home and became romantically engaged with Alan Larson in the process.

Nefersila in her early years. As a participant in the royal guard's youth services program, she has trained as a knight for as long as she has been able to physically bear the load of her armor.
