Nefersila Takumis is a dark-skinned, half-beast alien humanoid with the ability to manipulate elemental essence through her practice of the mana arts. Assigned to an urgent environmental response study on planet Earth, she is forced to ascribe permanent residence when her own world implodes just moments after the expedition's transport passage is sealed.

Tactical operations version of Nefersila's scuba gear. She carries her supplies in pouches strapped to her belt, and her backpack contains a recycling unit which processes her exhalation waste so that it can be returned to the breathing loop for reuse. The entire system is weighted to higher extents than her civilian gear, allowing her to maneuver across the sea floor while on foot and thereby eliminate the effects of propulsion that her swimming fins would exact upon the surrounding water volume, with only the more subtle fluid displacement from the wag of her tail following in her wake.
ネフェルシーラのスキューバ装備の戦術作戦バージョン。彼女はベルトに括り付けたポーチに補給物資を入れ、バックパックには呼吸ループに戻して再利用できるように呼気廃棄物を処理するリサイクルユニットが入っている。システム全体が民間装備よりも重くなっているため、海底を歩いて移動することができ、水泳用のフィンが周囲の水量に与える推進力の影響を排除できる。
