Kyla in her hazmat response gear. Cases involving environmental toxins or chemical compounds typically require precautionary encapsulation to ward off ill effect from the hazardous edifice, such that a full-body suit is worn over her uniform during the evaluation of the on-scene evidence. Her breathing and facial protection is serviced by a Scott Safety Systems encapsulated life support rig, which utilizes a visor mask that connects to her oxygen tank through a regulator pod.
