Paralyzed since birth, Kyla Larson is beset by a near-complete lack of body function with only her neck and head being spared from her debilitating condition. However, she is supported through advancements in bionic technology in ways that have permitted for her to serve as one of New York City's top police officers.

Kyla in her riot control gear. An additional protective vest beyond that which integrates with her bionic armor is worn over the same protective suit that she uses in hazmat investigations - an important distinction from a more typical police response, as it keeps her body safe from the contents of her gas canisters in the rare event that she has to use one (with a filtration pod attached to her facemask for additional protection under such circumstances). She also keeps her revolver strapped to her leg for quick access in case it becomes necessary to defend herself.
暴動鎮圧服に身を包んだカイラ。バイオニックアーマーと一体化した防護ベストを、彼女が危険物捜査で使用するのと同じ防護服の上に着用している。まれにガスボンベを使用しなければならなくなった場合に、ガスボンベの内容物から身体を守るためである（そのような状況下でさらに身を守るために、フェイスマスクに濾過ポッドを取り付けている）。また、自分の身を守る必要が生じた場合に備えて、リボルバーを足に縛り付けておき、すぐに取り出せるようにしている。
