Born with spinal defects which severely limit her natural abilities, Kyla Larson is only able to consistently control her neck and head without the use of her motorized bionic armor and its associated neural uplink. However, the efficiency of the technological advancements that support her physical function allow her to excel in her role as one of New York City's top police officers.

Kyla Larson in her scuba gear. She primarily uses a full mask which is easier for her compared to a more conventional setup, although she does have a standalone breathing regulator for emergency backup purposes.
